Born out of Portland, OR’s burgeoning indie pop scene, The Retrofits marry the instrumentation of a jazz ensemble with the catchy melodies and arrangements of a mainstream rock band.  Grounded in jazz piano, acoustic guitar, rich harmonies, and vivid lyrics, the band was created by high school friends and trackmates Jake Oken-Berg and George McCleary. Now one of Portland’s most popular pop/rock bands, The Retrofits have opened for Everclear and Pink Martini.

Michael Allen Harrison

Recognized as Steinway Signature Artist, Michael has built a reputation as a prolific and stylistically multifaceted pianist, playing classical, new age/world, and contemporary jazz. In a career that has spanned over two decades, he has expanded his talents as a producer, composer, and arranger.

Michael released his inaugural album in 1986. Since then, he has released more than 40 albums showcasing his vast variety of performing and composing styles. He launched his own record company, MAH Records, in 1984; it is now a well-known label for other popular Northwest artists. To date, Michael has produced music for more than 200 musicians.

Aaron Meyer

Concert Rock Violinist Aaron Meyer has successfully bridged the worlds of classical, world, & popular music, performing a unique blend of the three that has now become the Grammy® recognized category Classical Crossover

Meyer has performed with artists such as Smokey Robinson, Pink Martini, 2002 Miss America, and the group Everclear.  Meyer has released six albums.  In November 2004 Meyer and his 8 piece band performed a 90-minute concert of originally composed music with the Oregon Symphony at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.
