You simply can’t call the season “summer” unless you’ve been to at least one hot block party. And we don’t mean sweating on the tarmac of your cul-de-sac balancing paper plates piled high with pot-luck potato salad and plastic red cups of little Suzie’s lemonade.  We’ve got a much more adult alternative.  Meet your “neighbors” on Bridgeport’s block, hosted by Sinju Japanese Restaurant and the restaurants next-door!

This corner of Bridgeport Village will pop out with a special happy hour, live entertainment throughout the night, signature drink sampling, one night only dining discounts, and a special appearance by KINK FM Radio DJ Matt Lindley who will be handing out prizes all night long!

The block party kicks off with Happy Hour at 3:00 and all participating restaurants will be open until 11:00 pm!

Ready, Set, Split!  Join us for the first annual 10K run to celebrate the summer season and jump start your fitness routine.  It’s not a race, so no pressure!  And if nothing else will motivate you, just think of the 10 Cane Mojitos that will be served post-run by Split Dine & Drink to runners of age.  Of course, we can’t forget the small fries, so definitely bring runners 3-12 years old along for the Kids Split and post-run party.  All dashers will receive a ribbon for participating.
